**The New Hampshire Genealogical Record: Official Organ of the New Hampshire Genealogy Society, vol.3-4, Lee, NH Marriages, June 26, 1820 Joseph Jacobs m. Mrs. Ann Jackson, pg. 182. For her 2nd marriage to Joseph Jacobs, The Early Marriages of Strafford County, listed her as "Ann Jackson" In The New Hampshire Genealogical Record: she is listed as "Mrs. Ann Jackson". Both sources have the same date of marriage confirming both sources. "Widow Jackson" a.k.a Anna Bunker
Her grandparents, Joseph3 Bunker and Ann Giles, are the parents of James4 Giles Bunker h/o Abigail. It is my belief that this James4 Giles Bunker h/o Abigail are the parents of our Anna (Bunker) Jackson. The reasons for this belief are:

1. The surety bond that James Giles Bunker signed. (Image 1 below), (also see Administration of the estate of Benjamin Jackson, image 8, in Documents and Records)
2. His mother's name was Ann.
3a. Anna (Bunker) Jackson was born c.1760 which fits right into his family timeline. Also, the Bunker genealogy, (image 2 below) was not clear as to who the children of James4 Giles Bunker and Abigail were. Notice that daughter Abigail was born "prob @ 1760" and there are additional "possible" sons based on the 1790 census. By 1790 our Anna was already married so wouldn't have been enumerated in this census.

3b. "....releasing dower, deeded to William French of Lee, 12 acres "leading from my house to William French" 4 Feb. 1784 (Strafford Deed 6:30). (image 1 below). William French was the father-in-law to Abigail (Jackson) French, granddaughter to Benjamin Jackson & our Anna (Bunker) through their son Aaron Jackson h/o Thankful Martin and uncle to the AARON JACKSON of this research.

3c....(image 1 below)"James Giles Bunker of Lee, yeoman," deeded 2 acres in Lee by Winthrop Durgin of Barnstead 25 Feb. 1771 (Strafford Deed 8:499). Winthrop Durgin (s/o Francis Durgin & Susannah Durrell) m. __?___Jackson and had son, Jackson Durgin. (History of the town of Durham, New Hampshire: (Oyster River Plantation) with genealogical notes; by Stackpole, Everett Schermerhorn, Thompson, Lucien, Meserve, Winthrop Smith; 1913, pg. 159.)
4. deeded to James5 Giles Jr. by Anna Jackson of Lee, N.H. in Lee 7 July 1791 (Strafford Deed 13:119) (Bunker Genealogy; Descendants of James Bunker of Dover, N.H. by Edward Carleton Moran, Jr. pg. 56)

Further connecting Anna (widow Jackson) (Bunker) Jackson to her Bunker line: (family living near family)

In the 1850 census (image 3), Waldo, Waldo County, we see James Matthews, sailor, with family #105. In this same census our Benjamin Jackson and Patience are family #113. (previous census page)
This James Matthews (son of William Matthews), married 1st wife Catherine Harris (see attached book page, image 4). His 2nd wife Betsey/Elizabeth (not mentioned in this book). I figured out the second marriage from the census records in 1860, 1870 with the same children. The birth certificates for many children list mother as Catherine Harris but we never actually see her name in any census. She must have died prior to the 1850 census. Betsey age 25 can't be the mother of the oldest son as she would have been only 10 years old.
Now the connecting:
James Matthews, according to the attached page from The History of Boothbay, (image #4 below), was the grandson of John Matthews who "came from Dover, N.H." and was a first cousin to Micajah Bodge. Micajah Bodge was married to Abigail Bunker (sister to our Anna (Bunker) Jackson.

In other words: In the 1850 census James Matthews (living eight doors away from Benjamin Jackson) is a first cousin to the man who married Anna (Bunker) Jackson's sister. (family living near family)

Image #7, above, is the 1856 map of Lee, NH. If we compare it to image #5, map of 1805, we see that living across from where "Widow Jackson" lived in 1805 is a "U Caswell". He is Uriah T. Carswell/Caswell, husband of Sarah Ford, who is the 2nd cousin of Patience Prescott, wife of Benjamin Jackson II, parents of our Aaron Jackson.
