Aaron Jackson & Thankful Martin are not Aaron's parents.  At first glance they seemed to fit except for the following:

1. Town records for this family clearly list all the children.  They did have two sons they named Aaron but both died in childhood. (image below)

 

2. I did numerous DNA searches on Ancestry.com to try and find connections to Aaron and Thankful.   I got many links to the Jackson line beyond Aaron but none leading directly to him.  I also did DNA searches for the Martin line as that was Thankful's maiden name.  If our Aaron descended from Aaron & Thankful (Martin) Jackson, then I should find DNA matches to her Martin line.  I found nothing.

 

3.  In contrast, I searced for DNA matches to the Prescott line as Benjamin Jackson's wife was Patience Prescott.  I found  multiple matches in the Prescott line.  Descendants of uncles, cousins, siblings of Patience Prescott all matched as cousins to M, K, HG, A Jackson.  (see  Ancestry.comDNA         , also see Benjamin Jackson II & Patience Prescott)
